Blood of Lathander is a powerful weapon that you can find in the Monastery named Rosymorn. It holds great significance and is not that easy to get, you need to solve puzzles to get this weapon. This article contains a detailed guide on how to get the Blood of Lathander weapon.
The Dawnmaster’s Crest
Just near the top of Rosymorn Monastery, a large room with stained glass on the floor is there. The glasses are surrounded by some plaques and altars. After interacting with the stained glass window you will be able to see all the previous Dawnmasters of the Rosymorn Monastery. You will also find out that the altars are named after the previous Dawnmasters. Now you need to find the three ceremonial weapons.
1. Ceremonial Longsword: Altar Dawnmaster Welkinglory contains the weapon named Ceremonial Longsword. It is present to the northwest in a stained glass-floored room.
2. Ceremonial Battleaxe: Go southeast to the stained glass-floored room and you will find a broken window. Go inside and defeat the Guardian of Faith and then you can get the Ceremonial Battleaxe weapon.
3. Ceremonial Warhammer: Go to the south of the glass-stained room and pass through a barricade. After that, you will find knotted roots which you will have to climb. Go to the east after climbing and then look for a pair of giant eagles. Fight them and after defeating them, you can grab the weapon.
Now drop all the weapons corresponding to their altars.
- Dawnmaster Welkinglory – Ceremonial Longsword
- Dawnmaster Seed – Ceremonial Warhammer
- Dawnmaster Vaseid: Ceremonial Battleaxe
After all the weapons get placed, a pouch will appear in the wall that is to the north and it reveals the Dawnmaster’s Crest.

Inquistor’s Chambers
You will be able to enter the Inquisitor’s chamber after you turn on a barrier disruptor. Inside it, you will have to win a few fights and arguments. Just right to the west of the Inquistor’s chamber, you will find a pair of statues lying there and one of them will be stuck. The tricky part begins here, now you need to free the stuck statue. Now if you correctly rotate this then you can unlock a hidden entrance to a secret chamber door. You need to do the same.
- Move the freely moving right statue in such a way that it faces to the east.
- Again rotate it and make it in the west direction.
- Attack the stuck statue with the spell rotate it and make it in the east direction.
Chamber door puzzle
Now you will enter the secret chambers where you need to destroy the energy source and deactivate traps. You can easily destroy the energy source with attacks. To deactivate the traps you need to run away from the area where the respective trap is active. You can also disarm but moving away will be a better option. Go to the left of the second trap that you come across and there you will find the way to a room which is the final room and you will get the desired weapon in that room only.
Get the Blood of Lathander
Enter the room and now you need the Dawnmaster’s Crest which you got earlier in the game. There will be a panel there, just enter your Crest into it. Look near the rocks, you will find crystals down it, destroy them. Now you will achieve the Blood of Lathander weapon.

This is one of the legendary weapons in the entire Baldur’s Gate 3 game. It is a one-handed weapon that comes with a lot of great advantages. Its main feature is that it can blind the opponents by shedding the light. In addition to that, there are other advantages too that it comes with.
